Wearable Ring Maker ŌURA Announces Canadian Retail Launch in Partnership with Best Buy
ŌURA, known for its smart ring for personal health data, has announced its strategic expansion into the Canadian retail market in collaboration with Best Buy. The expansion into Best Buy stores in Canada follows ŌURA’s retail launch with Best Buy in the United States in April 2023.
Commencing immediately, select Best Buy stores across Canada will stock an array of popular Oura Ring colors and styles, including Heritage Black, Horizon Silver, Horizon Stealth, Horizon Gold, and the newest addition, Brushed Titanium, launched on October 10th. Canadian consumers can find these offerings in 124 Best Buy locations and can also explore the full selection, encompassing all sizes and styles, on BestBuy.ca. Best Buy locations will have on-site inventory available for immediate purchase, as well as in-store pick-up options for added convenience.

ŌURA recently introduced its Daily Stress and Stress Resilience feature at the 2023 HLTH Conference in Las Vegas and equips ŌURA members with the tools to comprehend their daily stress patterns and recovery methods. ŌURA partnered with Headspace, a mindfulness app developer, to launch this feature. The ŌURA ring continuously measuring small changes in biometrics like heart rate, HRV, and temperature to identify changes in stress levels and reports them to users every 15 minutes.
Best Buy has recently shown increased interest in personal health products and also recently announced a partnership with Dexcom to sell their G7 continuous glucose monitor for diabetes patients.
