Butterfly Network and Razom Partner to Expand Access to Butterly iQ+ Ultrasound Technology in Ukraine
Butterfly Network, Inc., a manufacturer of portable semiconductor-based ultrasound systems that interface with a smart phone, and Razom, a U.S.-based nonprofit dedicated to supporting Ukraine’s democracy and prosperity, have extended their partnership announcing an initiative to provide an additional 200 Butterfly iQ+ ultrasound devices to support healthcare on the frontlines in Ukraine. Razom has already deployed over 400 Butterfly iQ+ devices across the country, significantly contributing to improving healthcare access in Ukraine.
The Butterfly iQ+ ultrasound probe is able to conduct comprehensive whole-body assessments providing clinical grade imagery using a lightweight probe and smart phone. Its compact and lightweight design, makes it a valuable tool for medics and first responders working in the field and has a variety of use applications across numerous medical specialties. Furthermore, it plays a crucial role in providing routine prenatal and primary care services within survival shelters.

Butterfly Network initiated its rapid response outreach to humanitarian and veterinary nonprofits operating in Ukraine in February 2022. Since then, the company has successfully deployed nearly 900 Butterfly devices across Ukraine through over 40 global health partnerships.
